Some students seem to think that asking questions at the interview might seem presumptuous, but in fact it makes you seem interested and sophisticated. It is important that you trust your own abilities and believe that you have the qualifications required for the job that you are applying for. You should also bring with you a note pad to take notes during the interview if needed. Also having the right attitude towards learning a skill that you might not have yet is a positive sign to an employer. The more prepared you are, the harder it will be to make mistakes. You must start out strong and maintain the strength. Don’t Be Dynamic, Be Passive During The Interview! This will not only provide helpful information for the interview but will also boost confidence knowing that you are well prepared to answer any questions during your job interview. The same goes for hats and other accessories.

In obscure sports, you might get an athlete for a personal one-on-one interview. In swimming, you get American athletes in a small cluster of U.S. journalists. In track and field, you get a mob scene of reporters leaning on each other, straining to stick an iPhone or digital recorder within hearing distance of an athletes voice. Its a marginally dehumanizing experience. I am lucky to know many of the people functioning in this area and to count them as friends. We help each other and walk away sweaty and sore at the end. Also, for at least the second Olympics, the print mixed zone was managed by Australian Richard (Dickie) Brady and he did a sensational job of keeping the peace and ensuring that we usually got a shot at every important athlete.
